Minutes for the Monthly Meeting November 5th, 2017
10:00 AM Meeting Called to Order.
A moment of silence in remembrance of deceased members followed by the Pledge of Allegiance.
The minutes from the previous meeting were read. A motion was made and seconded to accept the minutes as read. This was passed by all in attendance.
There were no new communications to report.
There were four (4) new applications for membership received. After the meeting, the executive board voted and accepted the applications.
Bob M. requested a new by-low of lifetime membership for any member who turns 65 years of age and has been a member in good standing for at least five years. Further, such members would pay a one time fee and no further dues would need be paid. Such members would be afforded all club privileges. A motion was made and seconded to reject this new by-law proposal. This was passed by all in attendance.

There was no committee news to report.
The Ponderosa lease deal was
discussed. The City of
President Mike H. stated that he has spoken with current club treasurer Brad York about running for/staying on as treasurer for 2018, imploring members to do the same. Brad has stated that he'd decided long ago that 2017 would be his last year as treasured for the P.A.P.C. As such, the club needs to seriously begin determining how to properly transition to a new treasurer and club accountant. President Mike stated he has spoken with a couple of possibly interested persons for the treasurer position.
Member Zack L. stated that perhaps, as a last resort, the club could continue to elect a treasurer but hire an outside book keeper to assume Brad's current day to day operations. Further, a suggestion was made to send out a PAPC newsletter to all club members, informing them of the pending opening in the treasurers' position to gage any other possible interest from any members. A motion was made and seconded to send out a newsletter to all club members. This was passed by all in attendance.
Report of the Treasurer's :
Many bills were reported as paid. A motion was made and seconded to accept the treasurer’s report as read. This was passed by all in attendance.
Treasurer Brad Y. reported that bar business has been improving. Dues will also be coming in, these revenues however are generally used to cover the 1st six month property tax bill for 2018.
Good & Welfare:
A fall cleanup day will take place on November 18th, at 8:00 A.M. Members are urged to lend a hand.
The annual "Turkey Shoot" will take place on Sunday November 19th. The club is looking volunteers to help make the party a success.
